Senators John Curtis and Jacky Rosen have introduced a bipartisan bill aimed at protecting U.S. drinking water systems from damage caused by extreme temperatures. The proposal would expand eligibility for federal assistance programs addressing climate-related threats like heatwaves or cold snaps.
