The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has announced a full overnight closure of Logan Canyon on July 21 and July 22. The closure will take place from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on both nights as crews work on digging trenches for pipe installation, replacing pavement, rumble strips, and lane striping.

In addition to the Logan Canyon closure, UDOT advises travelers to expect traffic delays in other areas over the weekend. In Farmington, the ramp from Park Lane to southbound Legacy Parkway will be closed from July 18 at 11 p.m. until July 19 at 6 a.m. due to concrete work. Traffic will be redirected to southbound Interstate 15.

In Taylorsville, two lanes on eastbound 5400 South (State Route 173) at 3200 West will be closed from July 18 at 9 a.m. until July 21 at 5 a.m., as crews replace a drainage pipe. Motorists should anticipate significant eastbound delays in this area.

Furthermore, in Salt Lake City, the off-ramp from southbound Interstate 15 to 9000 South (Exit 295) will be closed for paving from July 19 at 11 p.m. until July 21 at 5 a.m.

UDOT reminds drivers that construction schedules may change due to weather conditions. For updated information on traffic restrictions during construction, visit the UDOT Traffic website or download the UDOT Traffic app for iPhone or Android devices.
