Snow College will honor Professors Danni Larsen and Kristi Stevens during its 2026 Commencement exercises, according to an April 22 announcement. Larsen will receive the Jesse Madsen Brady Teaching Award, while Stevens will be recognized with the J. Elliot & Maxine Cameron Faculty Service Award.
These awards are among the highest honors given by Snow College and highlight the importance of faculty contributions to student success and community engagement.
Larsen, an Associate Professor in the Education and Family Studies Department, is known for her engaging teaching style and commitment to helping students grow both personally and professionally. As Director of the Little Badgers Early Learning Center, she provides hands-on learning opportunities that prepare students for careers working with children and families. Her mentorship continues beyond graduation, impacting many former students.
Stevens, a Snow College alumna and Assistant Professor of Communication, has dedicated 26 years to teaching and service at the college. She has served on numerous committees, led as Communication Chair and Director of the Communication Lab, acted as Assistant Provost, helped develop a prison education program, and expanded access through initiatives supporting diverse student populations.
Provost Michael Austin said, “Professor Larsen and Professor Stevens are both exceptional faculty members who have changed our students’ lives through their teaching and service. We are fortunate to have them both at Snow and are thrilled to recognize their efforts with our two most prestigious faculty awards.”
Snow College was founded in 1888 by Utah pioneers as a two-year institution with campuses in Ephraim and Richfield as well as a learning center in Nephi. The college serves more than 5,000 students each year.
