There were 10 deaths with COVID-19 listed as the underlying cause reported in Utah in the week ending Aug. 20, making up 2.8% of total deaths by all causes in Utah.
There were 15 deaths with chronic lower respiratory disease listed as the underlying cause reported in Utah during the week ending Sept. 3, 2022, no changes from the previous week.
There were 20 deaths with Alzheimer's disease listed as the underlying cause reported in Utah during the week ending Sept. 3, 2022, a 66.7% increase over the previous week.
