The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Representative John Curtis for the United States Senate. The announcement was made on September 30, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Casey Hill, NFIB Utah State Director, expressed support for Curtis by stating, "Throughout his career, Rep. Curtis has focused on supporting small businesses and creating jobs." Hill highlighted Curtis's reputation for bipartisan collaboration and his commitment to pro-business policies. He also noted that Curtis is a cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act aimed at preserving the 20% Small Business Deduction.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, praised Curtis's understanding of business issues and emphasized his perfect voting record with NFIB. "Rep. John Curtis deeply understands business issues and has been a trusted ally of Main Street during his time in Congress," Sussin said.
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee funded by voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. The decision to endorse was made through a grassroots evaluation process driven by its members.
