The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Celeste Maloy for the upcoming special election for Utah's 2nd Congressional District. The election is set for November 21. NFIB is a prominent small business advocacy group in the United States.
Casey Hill, NFIB Utah State Director, expressed support for Maloy, highlighting her experience as a former congressional aide. "Celeste Maloy will be a strong small business advocate in Congress,” Hill stated. Maloy's understanding of the issues affecting the local small business community was emphasized in the endorsement.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also noted Maloy's commitment to small business-friendly policies. "We are confident that Celeste Maloy will be a reliable small business supporter," Sussin said. She praised Maloy's focus on reducing federal regulations and expressed anticipation for collaboration in the future.
The endorsement was made through NFIB FedPAC, the organization's political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is financed by member donations and evaluates candidates through a grassroots process. The members of NFIB in Utah are expected to actively support Maloy in the election.
