The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has announced an overnight closure of Logan Canyon on July 21, from 10 p.m. to July 22 at 7 a.m. During this period, crews will work on trenching for pipe installation and replacing pavement, rumble strips, and lane striping.

In addition to the Logan Canyon closure, travelers should anticipate delays in other areas over the weekend. In Farmington, the ramp from Park Lane to southbound Legacy Parkway will be closed from July 18 at 11 p.m. to July 19 at 6 a.m. due to concrete work, with traffic detoured to southbound Interstate 15.

In Taylorsville, two lanes on eastbound 5400 South (State Route 173) at 3200 West will be closed from July 18 at 9 a.m. to July 21 at 5 a.m., as crews replace a drainage pipe. Motorists are advised to expect heavy eastbound delays in this area.

Additionally, in Salt Lake City, the off-ramp from southbound Interstate 15 to 9000 South (Exit 295) will be closed for paving from July 19 at 11 p.m. until July 21 at 5 a.m.

UDOT reminds drivers that construction schedules may change depending on weather conditions.
