NFIB Utah expressed gratitude to members Kelly and John Lake of the LUX Group in Salt Lake City for traveling to Washington D.C. to attend NFIB’s Fly-In event from June 9-11.

During this two-day advocacy gathering, small business owners nationwide met with lawmakers to discuss how the 20% Small Business Deduction has benefited their businesses and the potential consequences if it expires.

The event also addressed other significant issues affecting small businesses, such as urging Congress to repeal the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting mandate.

NFIB extended thanks to U.S. Representatives Blake Moore and Burgess Owens for engaging with NFIB members.

“Utah US Rep Burgess Owens meets with NFIB members Kelly and John Lake during NFIBs June 2025 Fly In event,” stated a representative. Similarly, “Utah US Rep Blake Moore meets with NFIB members Kelly and John Lake during NFIBs June 2025 Fly In event.”
