The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is inviting public input on potential routes for a new paved multi-use trail connecting Enoch and Cedar City. This initiative is part of UDOT’s effort to expand the Utah Trail Network, aiming to provide communities with more transportation options.

To gather feedback, UDOT has initiated a public comment period and scheduled an open house event. The community can learn about the study, examine proposed route options, and engage with the study team during this session.

Comments collected will be assessed to identify a preferred route that ensures safe and convenient travel for people of all ages using various modes of transport like walking, biking, or scooting between Enoch and Cedar City.

The public open house is set for Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cedar City Festival Hall in Room 7 located at 96 N Main St, Cedar City.

The comment period will remain open until June 24, 2025. Residents are encouraged to review the study materials and submit their thoughts via the study website: udotinput.utah.gov/enochtocedartrailstudy.

The Utah Trail Network project aims to develop a comprehensive network of paved trails across Utah. More information can be found at utah trail network.udot.utah.gov.
