Utah State soccer head coach Manny Martins announced on May 14 the signing of Belle Sorensen, a transfer forward from Utah Valley, who will join the team this fall.
Sorensen comes to Utah State as a true freshman with four years of eligibility remaining. She previously played for Utah Valley after graduating early from high school and enrolling in college before the spring semester.
During her time at Bountiful High School, Sorensen earned recognition as one of the most decorated prep soccer players in recent state history. She was named a 5A all-state honoree all four seasons, including first team honors in her final three years. Sorensen received the Utah 5A Player of the Year award in both 2024 and 2025 and was honored as the recipient of the 2026 Utah State of Sport High School Female Athlete of the Year award. Over her high school career, she recorded a total of 81 goals and 33 assists. In her senior year, she led all players in class 5A with 25 goals and ranked second with 11 assists while helping Bountiful High School secure its first state title since 2006.
Sorensen also played club soccer for La Roca FC from 2022 to 2025, where she contributed to winning the Northwest Division ECNL U-18 conference title as leading scorer. Additionally, she competed on national and regional championship teams within UYSA in previous years.
The program is encouraging fans to purchase season tickets for $100 for adults or join the Junior Aggie Kids Club for $40 for youth access to all games at Chuck and Gloria Bell Field.
