The Utah Tech Trailblazers women’s softball team will travel to Stephenville, Texas, for their final road series of the regular season against Tarleton State, according to an April 22 announcement.

This matchup is important as it marks the last opportunity for the Trailblazers to secure wins on the road before returning home. The games could impact their standing in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) as they approach the end of regular play.

The series includes three games at Tarleton Softball Complex. The first two are scheduled for Friday, April 24, at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., followed by a third game on Saturday, April 25, at 11 a.m. Fans can follow live stats or watch broadcasts of each game online and stay updated through social media channels Instagram and Twitter (X).

Historically, Utah Tech holds a record of three wins and five losses against Tarleton State since matchups began in 2021. In Stephenville specifically, both teams have won one game each after splitting a pair last year; the third contest was canceled due to rain. At home in St. George, Utah Tech has won two out of six meetings with Tarleton State but was swept last season after winning two out of three games during their first encounter in 2021.

With these upcoming games closing out their away schedule this season, the Trailblazers aim to improve their conference record and build momentum heading into postseason play.
