The Weber State women’s track and field team finished sixth at the 2026 Big Sky Championships, according to a May 16 announcement. The event took place at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, and was hosted by Portland State.

The competition faced heavy rain and three lightning delays on Saturday. The Wildcats earned a total of 58 points to secure their position in the standings.

Head coach Lindsey Anderson said three athletes from Weber State received All-Big Sky honors. Saga Hagelin placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a career-best time of 9:56.69, which ranks as the fifth-fastest in school history and is currently among the top ten times in the NCAA West region. Audrey Cazier finished seventh in the same event with a time of 10:17.81—the tenth-fastest ever for Weber State—and Danielle Brow was eighth with a personal best of 10:23.27.

Charlotte Wilkinson earned All-Big Sky honors by finishing third overall in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.60. Senior Alyssa Hansen Freestone also claimed all-conference recognition after placing second in the hammer throw at 179-09; she led her team with twelve points scored during the meet and added a fifth-place finish in javelin (145-10).

Other notable performances included Lucy Harris finishing fourth overall in heptathlon (4,838 points), Abby Triplett taking fifth place in high jump (5-07.25), Bailey Tovey securing fifth place in shot put (46-02.50), Cazier returning for fifth place in the 5,000 meters (16:35.08), Hailey Day finishing sixth over ten thousand meters (35:08.21), Hannah Bailey earning seventh place for her performance over fifteen hundred meters (4:28.26), and WSU’s relay team placing seventh overall with their best season time of 3:51.88.

Looking ahead, qualified athletes will compete next at the NCAA West First Round meet scheduled for May 27–30 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
