Of the 3,231,370 people living in Utah in 2021, 49.4% (1,597,527) were women and 50.6% (1,633,843) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by Beehive State News.

Data showed the average age for men in Utah in 2021 was 31 years, lower than the national average of 38 for men. Meanwhile, Utah's female population stands at an average age of 32 years, placing them lower than the US average of 40.

According to census data, men aged 18 and over outnumbered women in the same age group by 31,659, totaling 979,399 individuals. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 168,310 men and 189,858 women.
