The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Celeste Maloy for the United States House of Representatives in Utah's 2nd Congressional District. The special election is scheduled for November 21.
"Celeste Maloy will be a strong small business advocate in Congress," stated Casey Hill, NFIB Utah State Director. Hill emphasized Maloy's experience as a former congressional aide and her understanding of issues critical to small businesses in the district.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also expressed confidence in Maloy's support for small businesses. "She is committed to supporting pro-small business policies, such as reining in federal burdensome regulations. We look forward to working with her."
The endorsement from NFIB comes through their political action committee, NFIB FedPAC, which is supported by member donations beyond membership dues. Decisions by NFIB FedPAC are guided by a grassroots evaluation process involving its members. Small business owners within the organization are expected to play an active role in supporting Maloy's campaign efforts.
